Woman Snaps Pic Of Horrific Wreck, Floored At What’s Hidden In Plain Sight

American police are some of the most disrespected people in our country today. They are routinely excoriated as racists, murderers, and thugs. One police officer showed his true colors by trying to comfort a very injured citizen.

While driving down a Georgia highway, Commerce Police Department Officer Kay Denton snapped a picture of two officers responding to a serious accident. On her social media account, Denton drew everyone’s attention to the fact that one of the officers was down on all fours trying to console a wounded child.

Denton wrote, “This is a photo of a wreck scene today on I-85, if you look closely you can see a police officer lying on the ground to the left side of the car. This officer was not hurt or injured in any way. This officer was comforting a child who was injured in the accident.”

Denton made further note of both the child’s age, and the officer’s actions, stating, “This child was an eight year old black male who was scared to death and had some internal injuries. This officer laid on the ground with this child, cradling his head in his hand and talking to him to keep him calm. When we found out that today is the child’s birthday, this officer sang Happy Birthday to him!”

Officer Denton’s Facebook post was intentionally made as a counterpoint to the anti-police narrative that is amplified by a sympathetic mainstream media.

“With all the ‘anti-police’ propaganda that is seen in the media, all of the ‘bad cop’ stories, and stories of ‘racial’ issues, I wanted to share THIS,” Denton wrote on Facebook.

Such stories of everyday heroism are rarely given space in the media, which mostly traffics in blood and bad feelings.

As noted by Breitbart author John Nolte, the tragedy of Hurricane Harvey in Houston highlighted how the racial division narrative is mostly a product of over-saturation from social media and television. In Houston, white Americans, black Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Asian Americans all lent each other support in over to get through historic flooding.

Houston and Georgia give us an insight into what really goes on everyday in America. Ironically, for most liberals, the South is still considered a beacon of race hatred. These two incidents show that the South is not like the stereotypes, and in fact, may be more racially harmonious than the liberal megalopolises of the East Coast, Midwest, and West Coast.

Police officer caught in compassionate act. Are you sick of the anti-police narrative?

Anthony Bourdain, a liberal chef born and raised in New York City, even stepped out of character and criticized left-wing Americans for casting aside the American South as a haven of “rednecks” and “hillbillies.” After visiting McDowell County, West Virginia, Bourdain noted the obvious racial harmony.

“I was surprised by the racial ethnic makeup of the community that came together for the football game last night. I was surprised by the interracial couples, the easy familiarity and affection between people that is very different than in New York,” Bourdain said.

Such slices of real Americana provide the antidote to the progressive narrative of an upcoming American civil war.
