It looks like this top anti-Trump Democrat is at it again, doing everything in her power to undermine the President’s moral authority.
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), led chants of “Impeach him” and “impeach 45,” referring to President Trump during an event hosted by Glamour magazine, according to The Washington Examiner.

The ardent California Democrat received the “Woman of the Year Lifetime Achievement Award” at Glamour “2017 Women of the Year Awards,” where she encouraged attendees to join her in a chant calling for the removal of President Trump from office.
“Impeach 45!” she told the crowd. Ms. Waters’ cries elicited a standing ovation from the audience at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York. “I need to hear you! Impeach 45!”
“Ladies and gentlemen, and to our young people in particular. You recognize when a leader is irresponsible. You recognize when a leader is dishonorable and disrespectful of you. You recognize when a leader is dangerous, even if that leader is the president of the United States of America. You have the courage,” Waters said during her acceptance speech.
“I want you to know that you can stand up to him or anybody else. And for those who say to me, ‘You are asking for something too soon and too early. Be careful. Don’t jeopardize yourself. Don’t say what you’re saying right now.’ But I continue to say, ‘Impeach him,’” she added.
This is not the first time that Rep. Waters has attacked the President is such a manner. According to The Hill, Ms. Waters spoke out against President Trump during a speech at a Women’s Convention in Detroit, calling him “indecent and deplorable,” and led chants of “impeach 45!”
“This is a man with no good values, no good intentions, and no good respect,” Waters told a crowd of over 4,000 attendees. “We cannot afford to be shut down or shut up by any man, particularly not one as indecent and deplorable as Donald Trump.” This also earned a standing ovation from the liberal audience.
In another instance, Rep. Waters spoke at an awards gala for LGBT youth where she made the claim that she would “take Trump out.” Townhall reported that she said, “And with this kind of inspiration, I will go and take out Trump tonight.”
As polarizing her sentiments might be, not everyone in her party agrees with her rhetoric. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), for example, said that pushing for the impeachment of Donald Trump is “not someplace that I think we should go,” adding that “we have a responsibility to first and foremost to unify the nation.”
With many top Democrat leaders trying to rebrand the party as a “no-drama” political organization, attacking the President so fervently only makes that goal more difficult to achieve. When considering that just two presidents in history have ever been impeached — Andrew Johnson in 1868 and Bill Clinton in 1998 (and neither were forced out of office) — Ms. Waters’ goal is unlikely ever to reach fruition.
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) has continuously called for President Trump’s imp[eachment. Is Maxine Waters taking things too far?
In juxtaposition to Mr. Trump’s political history, the Californian Representative has been embroiled in scandals that still haunt her. In 2010, Ms. Waters was charged with three counts of violating House rules when she broke the federal ethics code in arranging a meeting between Treasury officials and representatives of OneUnited Bank, according to The Hill.
Thankfully, more Americans than not disagree with the sentiments expressed by Ms. Waters, who represents only a small, liberal/progressive element of the country.
