It looks like there’s a new sheriff in town, and he is intent on stopping the leaks in the White House. The Hill reported that President Trump’s new Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci stated his commitment to reducing the amount of leaks coming from the White House.
During various interviews, Scaramucci said that he is going to take “dramatic action” to stop the leaking. He also said: “I’m not going to be able to stop the leaks in the intergovernmental agencies and all that other stuff, that’s a different ball of wax. But something is going on in the White House that the president does not like, and we’re going to fix it.”

Scaramucci continued his message on CBS’ “Face The Nation,” stating that he will work on “culturally changing” the environment at the White House. He said, “If you’re going to keep leaking, I’m going to fire everybody.”
Since taking office, the Trump administration has had a serious problem with individuals leaking critical information to the press. It has been an ongoing issue. The details of several important meetings were leaked to the all-too-eager establishment media.
It has been evident that these leaks were meant to undermine Trump’s presidency. Some have expressed their belief that the leaks were coming from the “Deep State,” a group of government officials who oppose President Trump. Others have blamed the leaks on staffers who previously worked under the Obama administration. The new Communications Director is clearly focused on rooting out leakers — whomever they are.
Scaramucci also stated that one of his goals was to mend the Trump administration’s relationship with the news media and improve the White House’s messaging. He said that it is important that the White House is communicating clearly with the American public. He said of President Trump, “He’s one of the most effective communicators that has ever been born.” Via Politico, he said that the White House needs to “deliver the messaging a little bit differently than we’ve been doing in the past.”
Scaramucci might have difficulty repairing the Trump administration’s relationship with the establishment media. Since the president was elected, news outlets have worked hard to discredit and undermine the Trump administration. Of course, this is nothing new. The media has always reported news stories in a way that is designed to further their leftist agenda. They constantly criticize Republicans while giving Democrats a pass.
There are clearly leakers in the Trump administration who are trying to damage him. They need to be weeded out now. Do you agree? Let everyone know in the poll below!
As long as the establishment media exhibits its leftist bias, it will be impossible for them to have a positive relationship with the Trump administration.
While it is clear that the media skews news reports in a way that promotes a liberal point-of-view, the president has called them out on numerous occasions about their “fake news.” Trump has also made numerous comments on Twitter about the mainstream media, but they generally use his tweets as ammo in more skewed reporting, when they should exactly be reflecting. It is evident that the media started this battle with the Trump administration. Unfortunately, it does not look like they will let up anytime soon.
