The entirety of the country has been watching on in horror as Antifa becomes increasingly brazen. The homegrown masked terror group is assaulting anyone who doesn’t think like they do, all under the false pretext of being “anti-fascists.”
Despite the obvious irony, one of the things that makes this group frightening is the fact that they cover their faces when they beat people at protests. As it turns out, the son of Hillary Clinton’s former running mate, Sen. Tim Kaine, was involved with Antifa, and was present at a Pro-Trump march, according to CNN.
Linwood “Woody” Kaine, 24, was charged with multiple misdemeanors for his participation in the March 4th Pro-Trump rally. Kaine is looking at one gross misdemeanor for obstructing the legal process, and misdemeanor counts for fleeing on foot and concealing his identity in public.
“Woody” was caught with eight others in Minnesota after they brought their brand of violent chaos to an otherwise peaceful rally.
The official complaint noted that Kaine charged the state capitol building during the violent counter protest. Antifa threw smoke bombs inside the structure, and Kaine later resisted arrest once the police tried to apprehend him.
Kaine was caught with Francis Sagermerek of St. Paul, 29, and Anton Bueckert of Ontario, Canada. The two are being charged on felony counts.
A spokesperson for Kaine told an augmented version of events. The spokesperson stated, “Today’s announcement of misdemeanor charges against Senator Kaine’s son contains no suggestion that he engaged in disruptive behavior while at the rally, but are instead focused on his actions as he was arrested after he left,” according to Fox News.
The issue many are having with the spokesperson’s statement is that it goes against the grain of what Antifa has done in the past. We know better, in other words. Antifa are known for their violent behavior and hostility toward people who disagree with them.
Obviously, “Woody” Kaine donned a mask and hit the streets with this group because he sees legitimacy in their beliefs and actions. This is a dangerous person who intended to do harm to people whose beliefs fell on the other side of the political spectrum than did his.
Authorities believe that “anarchist extremists” groups like Antifa are the primary instigators of violence at public rallies. They attack more than just Trump supporters, too — often extending their hatred to innocents.
The group, according to their various websites and social media accounts, opposes racism, the police, government, and capitalism — in essence, anyone with whom they don’t agree. It would appear that Kaine had these same gripes, despite his father’s place by Hillary Clinton’s side during last year’s election.
It’s safe to assume that “Woody” Kaine knew what he was getting involved with when he first started getting involved with Antifa. As an adult, he made a decision. When you’re an adult, you have to pay the price for your actions. Kaine may be the first of many Antifa to face the punishment they deserve, but hopefully, more prominent arrests follow. This terroristic group has to be stopped at all costs — clearly, they have members with political reach amongst their ranks. They grow more dangerous by the day.
