The Los Angeles Dodgers won't get away scot-free for spitting in the face of Catholic baseball fans.

A major Catholic advocacy group is launching a $1 million campaign to promote a boycott of the team after the Dodgers honored an anti-Catholic hate group that uses the clothing of nuns for drag costumes.

Brian Burch of CatholicVote explained his organization's reasoning in a Thursday letter to the franchise, according to Fox News.

The Dodgers invited, disinvited, and then re-invited (at the behest of leftist activists) the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to the team's pro-LGBT "Pride Night" event earlier this month.

The group uses imagery of Catholic nuns and even Christ himself for sexualized drag performances -- an act insulting to Catholics and all Christians.

"We wrote to you last week with a reasonable ask: Please do not honor this anti-Catholic hate group," Burch told the team in the letter.

"There is no place for anti-Catholic bigotry, mocking of religious sisters, or celebrating a perverse activist group whose identity is marked by blasphemy and mockery of Catholics."

"Because of your decision to refuse to extend even a gesture of courtesy, we have announced the launch of a $1 million multi-channel ad campaign that will begin next week."

"The goal of this campaign is simple: to urge all people of goodwill to express their opposition to your celebration of anti-Catholic bigotry and mockery."

"You have left us with no choice."

Burch informed the team that the ads calling out the Dodgers would be featured in the area of Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

The leader of the organization urged the Dodgers' administration to meet with representatives of the Catholic community, including nuns -- an offer the team had proved willing to offer to the LGBT community.

The Dodgers appeared to respond to the nascent Christian boycott of the franchise by scheduling a Christian Faith and Family Day.

Three-time Cy Young Award-winning Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw -- himself a Christian -- promoted the event on his Twitter feed.

Excited to announce the relaunch of Christian Faith and Family Day at Dodger Stadium on July 30th. More details to come— but we are grateful for the opportunity to talk about Jesus and determined to make it bigger and better than it was before COVID. Hope to see you on July 30th! pic.twitter.com/yNu7HyEgR9

— Clayton Kershaw (@ClaytonKersh22) May 26, 2023

However, the political timing of the event isn't distracting Catholic leaders from the act of anti-Catholicism the club intends to feature.

Not enough, @Dodgers. If you really want to reach out to Christians, don’t celebrate anti-Christian hate groups. https://t.co/Ne7RNWr2DF

The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence will receive a Community Hero award from the Dodgers during the team's LGBT event, according to The New York Times.

A rural Missouri town has become a destination for pilgrims after reports emerged that the body of a nun who founded a Roman Catholic order shows no signs of decay four years after her death.

Last week, the body of Sister Wilhelmina Lancaster, the foundress of the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles, in Gower, Missouri, was exhumed for final placement in the chapel of the abbey,  the Catholic News Agency reported.

The body was found intact, despite a split in the wooden coffin in which she was buried.

Hundreds have come to see the seemingly miraculous sight.

“It’s a great miracle,” said Tanya Schultz, who drove eight hours from Kentucky to see Sister Wilhelmina’s body.

“Her habit is still completely intact. ... I just thought God is so good. He is giving the sisters hope,” said Beth Vogel, a frequent visitor to the abbey, according to KSHB-TV.

“People still have such a desire and a yearning to touch and be around God in any way possible,” Kimberly Alshahri said. “God does give us these precious gifts ... but when there's one here, you gotta come.”

“She had the grace of God pouring through her to the point that her body is incorruptible and showing that there is an afterlife," Deborah Heffley said of Sister Wilhelmina. "There are so many coincidences that I don’t think are coincidences.”

The body of Sister Wilhelmina Lancaster, OSB, founder of the Benedictine Sisters of Mary Queen of the Apostles in Missouri was being moved to the order’s chapel and was found in a preserved state.

— Tyler Pearson (@_gidDy_Up_) May 23, 2023

Jack Klein, the owner of a local funeral home who was present at Sister Wilhelmina’s burial, said her body was not embalmed, according to another report from the Catholic News Agency.

Klein said he “can’t understand” the state the body is in.

“If the body was not embalmed, and it was still intact after four years, that one kind of throws me," said David Hess, associate professor in the mortuary science department at Salt Lake Community College in Salt Lake City.

"I would have expected the body to be decomposed -- maybe not all the way down to bone, but at least severely decomposed." Hess added that it's "kind of strange" that the body has no odor.

As explained by the Catholic News Agency, the Catholic Church venerates many "incorruptible saints" whose bodies do not experience the normal rate of decay. In Catholic tradition, the lack of decay is considered a sign of holiness.

Mother Cecilia, abbess of the community, said that when she led the examination of Sister Wilhemina’s body, she couldn't believe her eyes.

“I thought I saw a completely full, intact foot and I said, ‘I didn’t just see that.’ So I looked again more carefully,” she said, noting that other nuns cheered when they realized what they had found.

“There was just this sense that the Lord was doing this," Mother Cecilia said. "Right now we need hope. We need it. Our Lord knows that. And she was such a testament to hope and faith and trust."

She added that what they discovered is "not possible. ... God is real. He protected that body and that habit to enkindle our faith, to rekindle it, to bring people back to the faith.”

Sister Wilhelmina’s body will be on display until Monday, when it will be encased in glass near the altar of the abbey chapel.

“Have faith,” Mother Cecilia said. “Life does not end when we take our last breath. It begins. ... And this is the kind of miracle that reminds us of that.”

As a rising tide of red ink threatens to engulf Black Lives Matter, it has increased spending on management, according to new documents.

The Washington Free Beacon recently published the federal tax return of the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation.

The federal 990 form required for non-profits shows that in the 2020-2021 reporting year, Black Lives Matter raked in $76,872,002 in contributions and grants, which nosedived to $9,268,283 in the 2021-2022 year covered by the document.

For the 21-22 year, Black Lives Matter spent $17,048,810, giving it a net loss on the year of $8,559,748. The document said that while Black Lives Matter had roughly $30 million in assets at the end of the 21-22 reporting year, it lost $11.7 million in assets in the course of the year.

In its report, the Free Beacon noted that after multiple issues in compliance with the rules for charities in several states, Black Lives Matter had to shut down its online presence.

The document and report showed that more than $10.5 million went to contractors, many of which were linked for friends and family of former executive director Patrisse Cullors.

Paul Cullors, the brother of Patrisse Cullors, not only collected a $126,000 salary but $1.6 million through his businesses, which according to the tax form provided security services.

"While Patrisse Cullors was forced to resign due to charges of using BLM's funds for her personal use, it looks like she's still keeping it all in the family," said Paul Kamenar, an attorney with the National Legal and Policy Center.

Shalomyah Bowers, the current executive director and close friend of Cullors, received $1.7 million for services through his consulting firm.

A sister organization, Black Lives Matter Grassroots, has accused Bowers of “blazing a path of irreparable harm to BLM” and "'siphoning' millions to his firm,” according to the New York Post.

“Instead of using the donations for its intended purposes, Mr. Bowers diverted these donations to his own coffers,” the group claimed in a lawsuit.

The firm owned by Danielle Edwards, sister of former Black Lives Matter board member Raymond Howard, received roughly $1.1 million as a consultant.

The office of the New Mexico Attorney General posted a summary online. The summary showed that despite losing revenue, funds spent on management rose as the cash flow dwindled.

According to the New Mexico summary, in the 2020-2021 reporting year, Black Lives Matter spent $3,760,600 on management, which was 4.72 percent of its revenue.

In the 2021-2022 reporting year, management spending rose to $5,099,244, which was 60.07 percent of revenue.

Brian Mittendorf, a professor of accounting at Ohio State University, said the red flag the document shows, to him, is the "continued and substantial transactions with insiders,” according to Newsweek.

"While this is not improper per se, it does raise concerns about potential conflicts of interest in governing the organization. So I would hope the organization would take strides to ensure any such transactions benefited the organization and not individuals affiliated with it," he said.

A 15-year-old wanted in a botched shooting on a Maryland school bus is also being sought in connection with a Washington homicide, according to WRC-TV in D.C.

U.S. marshals and local police have released the photo of the 15-year-old, who goes by the name of "Baby K." His real name wasn't provided.

The report said there is a $25,000 reward on the table for information that leads to an arrest in connection with the May 3 murder of Kaijah McCoy,  23.

Another $12,500 reward has been posted for information that leads to an arrest in the school bus incident two days earlier.

'BABY K' WANTED 🚨 A manhunt is underway for an armed 15-year-old known as "Baby K" wanted in an attempted murder on a Prince George's County Public Schools bus and now in a D.C. murder, sources say.https://t.co/MRULdhRoN0 pic.twitter.com/MH95Mpbnlm

On May 1, three masked teenagers boarded a Prince George’s County school bus, and one of them held a gun to the head of another teen on the bus.

Although the gunman pulled the trigger three times, the weapon didn't fire, according to WJLA-TV. Police later found three live rounds on the bus.

Baby K is wanted on charges of attempted first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, assault and firearms offenses related to that incident.

“This was an attempted murder, plain and simple. Call it what it is,” Martin Diggs, head of the bus drivers’ union, told WJLA at the time.

“They pulled the trigger three times, but for some reason, by the grace of God, the gun didn’t go off and bullets flew out of the gun,” he said.

Police have since arrested a 14-year-old male and 15-year-old male in connection with the attack as well as a 14-year-old female who police believe coordinated the incident, according to WRC.

McCoy, the victim of the D.C. shooting, is the sister of the teen arrested in connection with the bus incident, but police said the two cases are not connected.

Prince George's County State's Attorney Aisha Braveboy said the bus assault should be a wake-up call for parents.

“Parents should know who their children are hanging out with, who they are socializing with, and who is influencing them," Braveboy said, according to WUSA-TV.

Agree, violent teens are NOT children, while committing heinous, gratuitous random assassinations for sport. Blk mob ferals are becoming a existential threat to societies safety. Death penalty for these thugs that kill for sport. No youth punishment for killing creates terrorism

— LeavingCaSoon (@Leaving_ca_soon) May 19, 2023

A report on Fox News noted that rickety family structure and societal erosion are two reasons more teens are involved in violent crimes.

"Unfortunately, the penalties aren't scary for these kids," Joseph Giacalone, an adjunct professor and former New York Police Department commander, told the outlet.

"The parents aren't taking care of things," he said. "The schools aren't taking care of things, and then the police have to deal with them … and meanwhile they had no [child] rearing at home, no discipline at home and at school, and they want to know why kids are acting out."

Louis Anemone, a former NYPD chief of department, said the internet has added fuel to the fire.

"There's a large proportion of the violence in the city right now that's perpetrated by youth and the victims are other youth," he said. "That wasn't the case back then. We didn't have the internet. You had to actually schedule a fight if you were going to do something."

Anemone noted that families of young offenders are often troubled.

"Who's in charge of correcting that?" he said.

Conservative firebrand Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is the new owner of what may be the most expensive stick of chapstick in history.

The Georgia Republican won an auction for the item on Tuesday, according to Politico. She's securing the item second-hand, as Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy was its first owner.

The price? $100,000.

This money isn't just being spent in preparation for Washington's humid summers.

Greene secured the (used) chapstick in an auction for the National Republican Congressional Committee -- the fundraising and campaign arm for House Republicans.

As an added perk, McCarthy agreed to attend dinner with the winning bidder -- as well as guests of her choosing.

That perk -- which was announced in the midst of the auction -- was reportedly enough to spur Greene's interest.

Told MTG did not bid on the chapstick until McCarthy offered up the donor visit.

— Olivia Beavers (@Olivia_Beavers) May 23, 2023

The auction took place during House Republicans' weekly caucus meeting on Tuesday, according to Politico.

In a statement, Greene touted her support for the committee and doubled down on helping House Republicans increase the size of their slim majority.

“I’m honored to be able to donate $100,000 to the [National Republican Congressional Committee] to help Republicans increase our majority in 2024 and defeat the Democrats."

"My constituents will be honored to host a visit with Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who we all think is doing a great job.”

The chapstick in question featured the campaign imagery of Rep. Aaron Bean, a Florida freshman Republican.

Greene had a public feud with Rep. Lauren Boebert -- another member of the House Freedom Caucus -- for opposing McCarthy's candidacy for Speaker of the House in January.

House Republicans soon pivoted away from the novelty auction to strategize for negotiations over the federal debt ceiling, according to Politico.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are getting roasted on Twitter after the team invited a blasphemous LGBT group of gay “nuns” to its “pride night,” then disinvited the group, and later reversed course again.

The anti-Catholic Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence will be celebrated by the team next month after all.

The team first announced the group of left-wing deviants would be brought on for a June celebration of the rainbow mafia as corporate America has collectively made the entire month of June gay.

After it was discovered how extreme these “sisters” were, the team pulled its invitation.

The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence is a San Francisco-based group of “queer and trans nuns” that have been mocking Christians on Easter since 1979 with perverse portrayals of Christ.

These jackals put out a letter expressing their “deep offense” at being disinvited last week and called on people to flood the Dodgers with negative calls and messages.

The bully campaign worked and the team folded like a cheap suit and more than capitulated.

“After much thoughtful feedback from our diverse communities, honest conversations within the Los Angeles Dodgers organization and generous discussions with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, the Los Angeles Dodgers would like to offer our sincerest apologies to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, members of the LGBTQ+ community and their friends and families,” the team said in a statement that reads as though it was written by ChatGPT with a gun to its head.

The Dodgers added, “We have asked the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to take their place on the field at our 10th annual LGBTQ+ Pride Night on June 16th.”

The team’s complete lack of a backbone earned it a volley of criticism on Twitter.

That you were bullied by this vile, anti-Catholic hate group into groveling before them and celebrating their blasphemy and mocking your religious fans is truly reprehensible.

Did you explain to Julio Urias that you just *had* to invite the group that openly and grotesquely mocks his faith because liberal interest groups like the ACLU got mad at you?

— Matt Whitlock (@mattdizwhitlock) May 23, 2023

Better hope the drag queens buy lots of baseball tickets and merch, because a lot of Christians are going to be done with you after this.

— Jeremy Carl (@jeremycarl4) May 23, 2023

The Dodgers backed themselves into a corner when someone within the organization invited a satanic freak show in the first place.

Now, the team owns every single lost fan who just simply wanted to watch summer baseball without having their faith mocked.

Americans have come to expect their companies and sports teams to bow to the LGBT mob during June.

The Dodgers have taken it a step further by offering a pulpit for anti-Christian deviancy in its lowest form.

A hand grenade exploded Saturday evening at a Lakes of the Four Seasons, Indiana, home, killing one man and wounding his two teenage children.

The incident occurred in the 3400 block of West Lakeshore Drive, a residential area southwest of Valparaiso, northeastern Indiana, according to reporting from WISH-TV.

Police responded to the scene after receiving reports at around 6:30 p.m. of an explosion in the house.

When deputies with the Lake County Sherriff’s Office arrived at the scene, they discovered the man lying unconscious and his 14-year-old son and 18-year-old daughter suffering from shrapnel injuries, WGN-TV and WLS-TV reported.

The man would later be declared dead, according to the news station, while his children were admitted to a nearby hospital.

An investigation by the sheriff’s office found that the family had been rummaging through the belongings of a grandfather when they located the hand grenade, according to WGN-TV.

After coming across the relic, someone had allegedly pulled the pin on the grenade, setting off the explosion, according to police, WGN-TV reported.

Homicide detectives and a crime scene investigation unit with the local sheriff’s department are investigating the incident, according to the news station.

According to WISH-TV, the Porter County Bomb Squad had arrived at the home to find out if there were any more explosives there.

This is not the first time individuals, especially relatives of WWII veterans, have stumbled upon explosives while looking through their loved ones’ belongings.

In 2020, an Oregonian woman in Otis, east of Lincoln City, was looking through her father’s garage when she came across an active WWII grenade.

The woman had found the ordinance in what was reportedly original packaging, local outlet The Oregonian reported.

Sgt. Patrick Dougherty with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said that he was initially “skeptical” about the bomb being active as usually, according to the officer, such ordinances are inert, the newspaper reported.

Dougherty said the woman’s father possessed a lot of military memorabilia, according to The Oregonian.

The woman also told officers that her father also had a WWII MKIIA1 fragmentation grenade converted to a lighter after being deactivated, the outlet reported.

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, several veterans have brought weapons and devices to their homes following their service in WWI, WWII, and the Korean, Vietnam, and Gulf wars.

“Usually what happens is when a veteran passes away, and family members are cleaning out their items, usually in a basement, garage, or attic, they’ll come across something that they know or suspect is a military ordnance,” Special Agent Patrick Carolan, a bomb technician with the FBI St. Louis Field Office said, according to the news release. “They call their local police, and we work with the police department’s bomb squad.”

“They are usually very surprised and relieved that we can take it off their hands,” he added, encouraging anyone who thinks they might have stumbled upon an explosive among their loved one’s belongings to call 911 as soon as possible.

“People are sometimes hesitant to call us because they think they’re putting us out. That is not the case. This is our job,” Carolan said. “We’d much rather come take a look at it and have it be nothing. We don’t want anyone to get hurt.”

A public university is the target of a civil rights complaint over an internship program that clearly says no whites need apply.

The complaint was filed Friday by the Equal Protection Project of the Legal Insurrection Foundation against the University of Minnesota and its Multicultural Summer Research Opportunities Program.

"The U. Minnesota segregated summer program is inexcusable, and it's shocking that a major university would so openly make educational opportunities open only to students of a certain skin color," said William Jacobson, president of the Equal Protection Project, according to Fox News.

"EqualProtect.org calls on the university immediately to open up the summer program to students of all races, ethnicities, and skin colors,” he said.

According to the college’s website, the program is “an intensive 10 week summer program in which undergraduate students of color work full-time with a faculty mentor on a research project. The cohort-based program includes a series of seminars preparing students for graduate school and developing research skills.”

Students are paid $6,000 for the summer.

As noted in the complaint posted on Fox News, students must complete demographic information to be considered.

"There is no good form of racial discrimination. Depriving white students of educational opportunities does not promote racial or any other form of justice. U. Minnesota's conduct is inexcusable," Jacobson said.

Jacobson founded the project in February to oppose any form of racial discrimination.

“Our highest ideal as a society is enshrined in the Constitution, the 14th Amendment in federal, state and local law, which is you do not discriminate on the basis of race or ethnicity. And we're seeing that, unfortunately, under the concept of equity, that there is outright discrimination on the basis of race,” he said then, according to Fox News.

The complaint says the case must be investigated with the outcomes of fines, withholding of federal funding or even prosecution.

Jacobson told Fox that taxpayer dollars should not fund discriminatory practices.

"We urge the U.S. Department of Education to fully investigate how pervasive segregationist practices are at U. Minnesota. Federal funding should not be used to promote educational opportunities restricted by skin color. Federal funding for U. Minnesota needs to be re-evaluated,” he said.

Jacobson said racism is racism, regardless of who is excluded.

"We all thought racial segregation in education as government policy ended with Brown v. Board of Education, but unfortunately it has been reborn under the umbrella of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion," Jacobson said.

"Whatever you call it, it's immoral and illegal, and U. Minnesota needs to stop treating students differently based on skin color."

"Unfortunately, U. Minnesota appears to think that pitting students against each other based on race by making educational opportunities available based on skin color is the answer, but that just compounds the problems."

Two women who took second and third place in a Colorado cycling race seem to have taken a stand by refusing to take the stand after a man claiming to be a woman won first place.

Cyclist Lesley Mumford, a man who "transitioned" in 2017, won the 100-mile race on Sunday, beating out 13 women in the 40 to 49 age group.

However, when it came time to visit the winner's podium, Mumford found himself standing alone on the No. 1 platform because the women who won second and third place didn't show up.

Neither the second-place Lindsey Kriete nor the third-place Michelle Van Sickle explained publicly why they skipped the ceremony, according to the New York Post.

Mumford was apparently bewildered as to why the women declined to stand next to him for a photo op.

"I have no idea why so many people bailed before the podiums, but they did," he later wrote on Instagram. "I swear I wasn’t the only one in my age group."

The CO2UT gravel race was yesterday.

Trans-identified male cyclist Lesley (Wesley) Mumford was🥇 in the women's 40-49 age group (out of 14) and 6/33 for women overall on the 100 mile course.

Mumford blew his female opponents out of the water, beating Kriete by 17 minutes and Van Sickle by a whopping half an hour. The race did have a "non-binary" category, but Mumford preferred to compete against women.

Many took to social media to praise the two women who skipped the podium ceremony, seeing their absence as a "silent protest" against men in women's sports.

“The women are refusing to stand on the podium with the man! Well done!” said Inga Thompson, a three-time Olympian and two-time medalist at the Tour de France.

“Enough is enough!” said Riley Gaines, a former NCAA swimmer who has launched a campaign to protect women's sports.

Mumford is not the first man who has beat out actual women in the sport of cycling. Indeed, it has happened again and again in the last few years.

[firefly_poll]

In one recent example, a race in New Mexico pledged to award the winner of the women's category the same amount of prize money as the winner of the men's. The $33,350 purse for the women's race ended up going to a man.

The phenomenon has even caused cyclo-cross champion Hannah Arensman to quit her sport after being forced to compete against one male cyclist after another, Breitbart reported.

According to The Guardian, the governing body of world cycling has agreed to reopen talks about rules allowing men to race against women -- though it seems unlikely anything will change much.

The left has opened the door to this kind of nonsense and too many have accepted it without question, unfairly allowing men to dominate women’s competitions and showering them with accolades and trophies.

The House Judiciary Committee and its subcommittee on the weaponization of the federal government released an interim report Thursday revealing that at least three FBI agents were either suspended or had their security clearances revoked over the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol incursion.

The report said the bureau "weaponized the security clearance adjudication process to silence employees who fight against the politicized 'rot' within the FBI leadership."

The interim staff report includes new whistleblower testimony from current and former FBI agents.

"The disclosures from these FBI employees highlight egregious abuse, misallocation of law enforcement resources and misconduct with the leadership ranks of the FBI," the report said.

It said three agents -- Marcus Allen, Stephen Friend and Brett Gloss -- had been suspended while their cases were reviewed.

According to ABC News, Friend and Allen were expected to testify Thursday before the weaponization subcommittee as part of its probe into the federal government's targeting of conservatives.

The interim report said the FBI whistleblowers "described retaliatory conduct that they have faced after making protected disclosures about what they believed in good faith to be wrong conduct."

In a letter obtained by Fox News and sent from the FBI to Republicans and Democrats on the Judiciary Committee, the FBI explained why it suspended Friend and Allen.

FBI Whistleblower Report by The Western Journal

The bureau said Friend "refused to participate in the execution of a court authorized, search and arrest of a criminal subject" in August 2022.

[firefly_poll]

"During his communications with his management about his refusal to participate, he espoused an alternative narrative about the events at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021," the letter said.

It also said Friend "participated in multiple, unapproved media interviews, including an interview with a Russian government news agency."

Allen's suspension, according to the letter, occurred because the FBI found he "espoused alternative theories to coworkers verbally and in emails and instant messages sent on the FBI systems, in apparent attempts to hinder investigative activity."

The timing of their suspensions and the revocation of their security clearance have made many doubt the truth behind the FBI's statements.

Fox News reported that Friend's clearance was withdrawn Tuesday -- two days before his scheduled appearance at the subcommittee hearing -- and Allen's was rescinded May 3.

"This is a last minute Hail Mary from the FBI in a desperate attempt to salvage their reputation ... before brave whistleblowers testify about the agency's politicized behavior and retaliation against anyone who dares speak out," Russell Dye, a spokesman for House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, told ABC News.

In his opening statement Thursday, Jordan said, "Today it's not just presidential campaigns. Today it's the American people -- they're the target.

"If you're not politically correct, you're not in line with what they think should be the political position, the proper position, you’re the target," the Ohio Republican said.

— VOZ (@Voz_US) May 18, 2023

In its conclusion, the interim report said, "The leadership at the FBI and Justice Department have weaponized federal law enforcement against everyday Americans, seeking to silence those who dare to have a different viewpoint."

"Meanwhile, whistleblower testimony highlights that the FBI’s partisan leadership is currently engaging in a 'purge' of agents who hold conservative political beliefs," it said.

"The agency’s attacks on bold agents must cease," the report said, "and this Committee and Select Subcommittee will consider legislation aimed to curb such attacks."
