George Soros, the progressive billionaire, speculator, and philanthropist for left-wing causes, has funded a variety of groups and organizations across the world to help further his agenda, sometimes employing violent means to help achieve his aims.
One of the groups that he helps fund, Antifa — who are notorious for their violent riots and protests to disrupt the efforts of all those who don’t agree with them — has been officially labeled by the state of New Jersey as a Domestic Terrorist organization. (via NJ Homeland Security)
On the official website for the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, you can find a page that describes the Antifa group as “Anarchist Extremists,” a subcategory of domestic terrorist.
Included on the website are numerous instances in which they have become violent. These include April 18, when the Patriots Day Free Speech Rally took a violent turn due to Antifa’s efforts, in which a member wrote: “Every Nazi that gets punched is a victory.”
Another case mentioned was when a “Make America Great Again” event was disrupted in Philadelphia, which prompted authorities to shut down the event.
More notable events include when Antifa rioted at the University of California at Berkeley where they succeeded in shutting down the speaking engagement of Milo Yiannopoulos, a pro-Trump speaker who had to be evacuated by security. This protest was funded by a progressive charity known to be bankrolled by George Soros. (via The Daily Caller)
Even recently, we covered a story in which Antifa aimed to disrupt the re-enactment of the Battle of Gettysburg this past July 4th weekend, including reports where they intended to desecrate monuments and gravestones.
New Jersey has been the first state to classify the group as a terrorist organization.
You don’t need to be a political expert to notice the trend that Antifa’s efforts to supposedly fight “fascism” amount to nothing more than bullying and intimidation. The irony seems to be lost on them, as these same tactics come straight from Mussolini’s fascist regime where the squadristi, better known as Black Shirts, terrorized those who did not comply with the dictator’s demands.
Some of these efforts have reportedly been funded by the billionaire himself, whose notorious moniker as “the man who broke the Bank of England” earned him the reputation as one who cares more about his pocketbook than the economic livelihood of those from whom he pillages.
Soros is an advocate for “open societies,” and uses his wealth to fund groups that serve his ultra-progressive agenda, including ideals such as open borders and unrestrained immigration. Soros has no regard for the consequences such policies would have to their native populations.
He is also no friend of the current administration, as he openly backed and funded Hillary Clinton’s campaign against Trump, including spending one billion dollars of his fortune to stop Trump from winning the presidency. He claimed in January that Trump is a “would-be dictator” who is “going to fail.” (via CNBC)
It seems that losing a billion dollars clouded Soros’ judgment, as Trump has been succeeding with the American people despite being relentlessly attacked by the establishment and media.
Hopefully other states will follow in New Jersey’s example, and set the record straight about the true nature of Antifa.
