The Anti-Trump movement has been reaching scary new heights.
Violent protests and shootings put on by anti-Trumpers to voice their anger and targeting anyone who supports the president have been increasing. Now, a pop culture singer reveals the wave of death threats she’s received from liberals for supporting Trump publicly, and it’s serious. (via Fox News)
Joy Villa, known by her stage name as Princess Joy Villa, is an alternative rock singer whose career launched after wearing a pro-Trump dress to the Grammy Awards this year. The dress was emblazoned with Trump’s presidential campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again.”
Since awareness of the singer skyrocketed, she’s been very public about her support for Trump. She often talks about how it was Trump who first got her interested in politics and how she liked him for being an outsider.
“I got really excited when I saw someone who was not a politician,” Villa said. (via Toddstarnes.com)
Yet her support of Trump has come at a price. Since wearing her dress to the Grammys, there’s been a torrent of anger directed at her, “I’ve gotten death threats and hate mail. All I did was wear a dress, something that was pro-Trump.” (via Toddstarnes.com)
The hatred towards pro-Trump celebrities is becoming very common in various pop culture industries. Within liberal Hollywood, many actors and actresses have seen their entire careers fall apart for supporting Trump.
Antonio Sabato, Jr., who’s been in a number of movies and TV shows like “Charmed” and “Dancing with the Stars” says he’s been blacklisted for showing his support for Trump, “I’ve had fantastic directors who have said officially to my agents and managers they will never hire me again. They will never even see me for projects. That’s unfair. It’s just like Communism.” (via NewsMax)
Stacey Dash, an actress famous for her role in “Clueless,” echoed similar frustrations for her own acting career, saying, “My acting opportunities have ceased because of my political beliefs. I’m being persecuted in Hollywood. I’ve been blacklisted.” (via NewsMax)
The hatred from liberals toward Trump supporters is growing to include acting on those threats. In March, a fight between Trump supporters and anti-Trump protesters broke out when one of the protesters attacked a pro-Trump supporter with pepper spray.
Celebrity Trump supporters have been blacklisted. Do you think liberal opposition to Trump has gone too far?
In June, a liberal, angry about Trump winning the election shot and injured a number of Republican congressmen playing baseball. Among the injured was Representative Steve Scalise (R-LA) who currently remains in the hospital for his injuries.
The overwhelming hatred toward Trump supporters is getting out of control, and extreme liberals are becoming dangerous. The anger is only getting worse as liberal media and Democratic leaders spread their narratives to paint Trump as a tyrannical figure and motivate liberals to oppose conservative agendas any way they can, even if it means resorting to death threats and violence.
Fortunately, celebrities such as Joy Villa are facing the opposition head-on and not backing down. Showing she continues to support the president despite the threats against her life, Villa released a song titled “Make America Great Again.” In what she calls a “love song to America” Villa reminds us all that we need to stand up against liberal opposition and “be the sound of every freedom song.” (via Newsbusters)
