JUST IN: Megyn Kelly Hits ‘All-Time Low’ – She Deserves This

If Megyn Kelly had yet to regret her move from Fox News, she most certainly is now. Even more bad news is now piling on to the already battered Today show host.

Megyn Kelly’s viewership continues to plummet. Page Six reports that last week’s Megan Kelly Today’s “viewership slipped from 0.77 ratings points on Monday to 0.54 ratings points on Tuesday of last week.”

“It’s a possible all-time low for Today. It may be even lower than her [Fox] cable show,” an anonymous source told Page Six.

The ratings are even down for shows airing after Kelly’s Today, dragging the show Kathie Lee & Honda down 26 percent as compared to this time last year.

Last week, Kelly had a guest that seemed certain to attract viewers: one of Harvey Weinstein’s accusers. Lauren Sivan, who once worked as an anchor for a Long Island News Station and claims Weinstein sexual abused her, spoke at length with Kelly. Despite sharing a past in the news industry, Kelly’s talk with her guest didn’t entice viewers.

Another source weighed in on Kelly’s viewership, adding that the 32 percent loss is “a big drop. They have to turn this around.” The source also referenced Kelly’s first appearance on MSNBC since her move to Today, arguing, “It’s unthinkable. You don’t see Matt [Lauer] or Savannah [Guthrie] on MSNBC … It’s not a good sign.”

An NBC insider told Page Six that they disagreed, “NBC News anchors appear frequently on MSNBC,” adding, “Megyn’s having a strong week. Her numbers are up double-digits versus last week.”

Yet, it seems the disapproval of the Fox News audience may be still affecting Kelly’s ratings.

One Facebook commenter said, ” You can’t turn around the damage this woman brought to herself. She was part of the best news organization on TV and choose to go after candidate Trump on the first debate. It was evident that her true feelings were not to host a fair debate but to attempt to embarrass and push her anti-Trump agenda.”

Many have agreed that Kelly’s exchanges with Trump did significant harm to her career.

“Wrong move lady. The viewing public saw through your charade immediately and shut the door on you at that time. Megyn you can’t deny and moreover you can’t redeem yourself. You are heavy damaged baggage and I truly think your journalist career is over.”

“In my opinion you’ll be out before years end and you have no one to blame but Megyn Kelly. You blew it girl,” the commenter added.

Kelly’s low viewership may be due to the fact she still appears to be adjusting to the format of her new show and the expectations of a different audience. Her show has been criticized for awkward moments, according to The Daily Caller. This criticism includes asking a fan of Will & Grace, “Is it true that you became a lawyer–and you became gay–because of Will?”

Megyn Kelly’s show ratings are tanking. Do you watch her show?

She also had Jane Fonda as a guest, and asked the actress about her plastic surgery. Fonda responded, “We really want to talk about that now?”

John Oliver’s HBO show Last Week Tonight, even ran a compilation of what they called “controversial” remarks from Megyn Kelly, including from her time as a Fox News host.

From the rating numbers, one thing is for sure. Kelly has not made excellent career decisions.
