Rock Legends KISS Bring American Flag on Stage, Stun Crowd With a Move Everyone Should See

Regardless of one’s age or background, everyone should be well aware of one of the most famous rock bands ever, KISS. They recently had a show in Worcester, Massachusets and put on an amazingly patriotic show.

In the middle of the show, they stopped and managed to do an excellent service to the American people. They managed to show some serious respect to veterans by donating $150,000 to a key charity for veterans called Hiring Our Heroes.  Then, they showed their disapproval for Colin Kaepernick’s refusal to stand during the National Anthem and finally ended the show in the most patriotic way possible.

The guitarist and singer for KISS, Paul Stanley, grabbed the mic and explained that the freedom we experience every day comes at a great cost.  Stanley then went on to talk about our veterans and current military.

“They go overseas. They protect us. They stand up for us….When they come back, some of them need medical help, some of them need financial help….They don’t get what they’ve got coming from their country, so we try to be sure that they get it from us,” he said to an appreciative crowd.

It was then that he announced they are currently accepting donations for Hiring Our Heroes.  After this announcement, they went on to present their check of $150,000 that will go toward helping veterans of the military find jobs.

Stanley went on to deliver a powerful message about patriotism and how important it is for the country. This message is going to ring with every person there for years to come.

“I want to tell you something,” Stanley started. “You should remember patriotism is always cool. Loving your country is always cool. Standing up, respecting and honoring our military is always cool.”

Stanley went on to ask everyone in the audience to stand up and place their right hand over their hearts. After everyone stood up, KISS started reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. The crowd followed soon after they started.

“God bless you! God bless our troops!” Stanley shouted after the pledge was over. After it was said and done KISS closed out the show the only way that they know how to — with style.

They played the national anthem while fireworks went off in the background and an American flag covered the whole back screen behind the band. It was truly a wonderful sight to behold. Just by watching the video of the event, the love and patriotism can be felt flowing from the stage.

The social media response to the show was extremely positive. Calls of “Excellent” and “Refreshing” flew across the internet when describing the performance.

KISS has been making a difference for veterans and the active military for years. Every time they hold a show, one dollar of every ticket price goes towards the Wounded Warrior Project. They have managed to raise a ton of money for veterans. Back in 2011, they managed to raise $500,000. As if anyone needed another reason to love KISS, their patriotism is unmatched.
