There is no doubt that President Trump has fundamentally shaken the system to its core. Because of his mere presence, the Left is losing their collective mind, and some people on the Right are becoming traitorous in nature.
Laura Ingraham has had enough of the GOP betraying their party and the American people. She warned that if the Republicans decide to tiptoe around tax reform that there will be “hell to pay” during the 2018 election. She has a perfectly valid point, and the GOP needs to start thinking about whether they are working for the people or their own agenda.
Graham stated, “The nation rejected the old ways of Washington in November.” She is, of course, referencing the election of now President Trump. The people voted him in because the old ways just were not working.
Ingraham confirmed as much when she stated that the old ways “haven’t served the working people well.” This is something that has shocked many Democrats because they cannot see outside of their box.
The much bigger–and more accurate–picture shows that there are people in this country without jobs, all the while Democrats are encouraging more people to come here. They were also throwing away money to green energy organizations that were effectively doing nothing.
All of these things and more caused many average Americans to scratch their heads to say, “I don’t know about this.” Hence, President Trump was elected and will likely be elected for a second term.
Ingraham spoke at length about how there will be a political sea-change in Congress if Republicans don’t do anything on many important issues, including repealing Obamacare, and fundamental tax reform. There may be a lot of work involved in tackling these issues, but tackling these issues is literally their job. No one is paying them to take it easy.
There are members of the GOP who are not working for the best interests of the American people and are, instead, working for themselves and their donors. This is a detrimental track that is causing many Americans to reconsider whether these people are worthy of holding elected office.
For example, the American people spoke about Obamacare. Everyone agreed that it was a disaster and needed to be repealed. Instead of working towards that goal, some in the GOP, like Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), who adamantly opposed Obamacare, voted against the repeal and replace because of an apparent personal grudge.
This news comes in light of Donald Trump supporting a budget plan that was proposed by Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
The new bill includes money that would go toward hurricane relief funding. It only made sense for President Trump to support this despite the hateful things that Pelosi and Schumer have said about the president.
Ingraham spoke on the bill, saying, “Donald Trump, I think, looked at the pieces on the chess board and he said, ‘What move can I make?'” She stated that this is the best decision he could have made.
Ingraham concluded by speaking of Congress again, “If they’re not willing to learn, if they’re not willing to listen, then they need to go on and do something else with their lives.”
