BREAKING: Powerful Group Issues Ultimatum to GOP Senators Who Betrayed Trump

Many people are upset by the betrayal of Republican senators who refused to vote for the latest attempt to repeal Obamacare. One organization in particular is refusing to take no for an answer.

The president of the Senate Conservatives Fund has made it very clear he will not accept Republican senators failing to keep their promises to repeal Obamacare. He issued the promise that his organization will do everything in its power to remove and replace senators who go back on their word. (via Senateconservatives.com)

The Senate Conservatives Fund is a grassroots organization promoting conservative leadership in political office. They promote conservative values including the right to bear arms, oppose taxpayer funding of abortions, and fight for the repeal of Obamacare. The organization fulfills its mission by raising funds for potential candidates and utilizing aggressive advertising campaigns.

On Tuesday, Ken Cuccinelli, president of the SCF,  issued a statement directed at the senators who failed to fall in line with other Republicans and repeal Obamacare.

“Republicans have promised to repeal Obamacare for years and now with President Trump in the White House, there is no excuse for them breaking their promise. Working with grassroots across the country, we will seek to identify, recruit, and fund conservative challengers against Republican senators who vote against repeal. If they won’t keep their word and if they can’t find the courage to repeal a liberal takeover of our health care system that has hurt so many American families, they should be replaced by someone who will.” (via Senateconservatives.com)

His strong warning comes after two senators, Mike Lee (R-UT) and Jerry Moran (R-KS) voted “no” to a bill meant to repeal the Affordable Care Act. Two others, Rand Paul (R-KY) and Susan Collins (R-ME) made it clear before the voting occurred they would vote “no” on the bill.

Senator Collins opposed the bill stating she felt the new bill would be too damaging to Medicaid, saying, “At this point, unless I learn something new, I am a ‘no’ on the motion to proceed.” (via CNBC)

Republicans promised to repeal and replace Obamacare. Should they keep their promise and sign the bill?

The SCF’s statement issues a strong warning that voters are getting tired of Republicans failing to keep their word to repeal Obamacare, something many campaigned on. With a Republican president and a majority in the House, the SCF makes it clear there are no more excuses and the repeal needs to happen.

Trump has voiced his disappointment with the senators failing to keep their promises and has suggested that Republicans should “let Obamacare fail and then the Democrats are going to come to us.” He has made it clear, however, that should the traitors decide to change their mind and keep their word, he’s “sitting in the Oval Office right next door, pen in hand, waiting to sign something.” (via The Hill)

The four Republican senators’ refusal to pass the repeal breaks a near seven-year promise to voters. At this point, the only way the bill can be passed is if changes are made to satisfy two of the “turncoat” Republican senators; or the entire bill could be reworked and hopefully appeal to two Democrats.

Whatever the plan, it’s high time Republicans keep their promises or make way for those who will.
