The American people witnessed a variety of different kinds of fraud taking place through government agencies under the Obama administration, as well as previous administrations. Now, it seems the FBI has been caught trying to perpetrate some corruption of their own, and things just got messy for them.
According to Fox News, the FBI is refusing to turn over any of the files that they have on the former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton with regard to her email scandal. Their reason for such a refusal? They think that there is a lack of public interest, which could not be any further from the truth. Many people who are clearly frustrated by this have started a petition that demands the FBI turn over all relevant documents on Hillary Clinton.
The petition started last night and has over 3,000 signatures. The more people who sign the petition, the more serious this is going to be taken.
If the people involved in these scandals are to be held accountable, it is small things like this that contribute to unraveling mysteries that some of them would rather keep under wraps. This has been a long time coming.
It all started when Ty Clevenger, a New York City lawyer, filed for a Freedom of Information Act request back in early 2016. The FOIA called for the FBI to release documents they had gathered during communications with the Justice Department.
The request also asked for documents showing the emails exchanged between the FBI and Congress regarding the Clinton email investigation. After what was assumed they would call, “a careful investigation,” the FBI’s Records & Management Division responded by saying that they would not be handing anything over.
They “determined you have not sufficiently demonstrated that the public’s interest in disclosure outweighs personal privacy interests of the subject,” according to the document.
The truth is, this has been one of the hotly debated topics of 2016 and 2017. Some of Hillary Clinton’s emails painted a picture of corruption, deceit, and fraud spanning across the globe.
When one considers the severity of the other emails, the right thing to do is dig deeper. The truth needs to be revealed, and that is what Clevenger hoped to achieve.
Now, with the truth hanging in the balance, this petition is what needs to be signed to get the facts of the matter. This could determine whether or not the Clintons, or anyone involved with them, ever pay for their crimes.
The icing on the cake for many people was when former FBI Director James Comey came out in July of 2016 and gave the crowd a “nothing to see here,” response. He admitted that what she did was “extremely careless,” but why? Did Comey mean her actions were careless or was he talking about how close Clinton came to pulling down the foundation of the Deep State?
Was it careless that she was using a private email server and address to deal with confidential information that put our national security at risk? Maybe he was referring to Clinton being careless because she almost got caught. Only time will tell.
If you believe in transparency, please don’t forget to sign the petition.
