The mainstream media is not even attempting to hide their utter disdain for average Americans.
Hayley Geftman-Gold, a top legal executive for CBS, says she “is not even sympathetic” for the victims of the mass shooting that took place at a country music festival on the Las Vegas strip late last night because “country music fans often are Republican gun toters,” reports The Daily Caller.
“If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing,” Geftman-Gold wrote on Facebook, probably in reference the Sandy Hook shooting. “I’m actually not even sympathetic [because] country music fans often are Republican gun toters.”
The CBS executive explained that she has no sympathy for the estimated 58 dead and at least 515 wounded at the Route 91 Harvest Festival because country fans are often Republican. Essentially, Geftman-Gold believes that anyone who does not support gun control deserves to die.
The mainstream media cannot hide their liberal bias. “Redneck” Republicans are consistently the butt of the joke on prime-time television, and supporters of President Trump are routinely derided as uneducated yokels. However, the extreme dehumanization displayed by a top CBS executive suggests that mainstream media elites are not just biased against Republicans, but they actively hate them and hope they die.
Police have identified Stephen Paddock from Mesquite, Nevada as the sole perpetrator of last night massacre – the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history. Paddock opened fire from his hotel room on the 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino on the crowd of 22,000 country music fans gathered below.
Paddock was found dead by a self-inflicted gunshot wound when police broke into his hotel room early this morning. Paddock was alone in the room with at least 10 rifles. He had been staying in the hotel since September 28, and it appears to be a premeditated attack.
This is not the first time that CBS has celebrated attacks against supposed Republicans. In the aftermath of the Congressional baseball shooting in Alexandria, Virginia that left five wounded including House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA), former CBS Evening News anchor Scott Pelley suggested that the attack was “foreseeable, predictable and to some degree, self-inflicted,” reports The Daily Caller.
CBS was named alongside NBC and ABC in a Media Research Center study that found that 88 percent of the “big three” broadcasters’ coverage of President Trump was negative after his first month in office. “A new American president is always a big story, but TV news is obsessed with the Trump administration — and not in a good way,” the researchers observed, according to The Washington Times.
Violence against supposedly right-wing targets has become much more apparent since President Trump first became a front-runner in the Republican nomination process. Calls to assassinate the President are frequent, and groups like Antifa have been formed explicitly to attack supporters of President Trump.
The CBS executive said he has no sympathy for Las Vegas shooting victims because they’re probably Republicans. Is this how someone should act after people are killed?
The motives of Stephen Pollock are still unclear, but CBS‘s Hayley Geftman-Gold is not the only one to suggest that a country music festival was deliberately targeted since “country music fans often are Republican gun toters.”
Victims have not even been identified yet, and the Left has responded with calls for stricter gun control, disturbing celebrations of assumed Republican victims, and bashing of the President. It’s unfortunate that this heartless and politicized rhetoric has become the normal response to mass murder.
