The White House has experienced a dramatic shift in staff over the past couple of months. Now, former Chief White House Strategist, Steve Bannon, is out of the White House — and is making a stern promise of war.
Bannon’s first interview after leaving was with Bloomberg News. During the interview, he issued the following warning: “If there’s any confusion out there, let me clear it up. I’m leaving the White House and going to war for Trump against his opponents — on capitol hill, in the media, and in corporate America.”
From the looks of things, Bannon is not quite out of the fight yet. Instead, it appears that he is gearing up for the biggest battle yet. President Trump may have lost a strategist, but he gained a powerful ally in the uphill battle against the Democratic Party.
There have been rumors circulating that Bannon was going to be out of the White House for months. It all came to a head Friday with the official announcement of Bannon’s departure.
According to The Gateway Pundit, Bannon’s old trusty media home, Breitbart News, is “plotting to go thermonuclear against globalists.” Bannon is going to find his war chair in good shape and ready for his return.
Before turning his gaze toward Trump’s enemies and the Democrat party, there may be a personal battle that Bannon has to address first. As former Trump aide Sam Nunberg points out, Bannon believes that the Drudge Report’s Matt Drudge sped up Bannon’s departure from the White House.
“Matt Drudge worked to remove Steve Bannon, that is the reality,” Nunberg stated. It is important to note that Nunberg and Bannon still talk regularly, so this is information given practically first hand.
Nunberg went on to say that, “I hope Matt is happy because his work helped Bannon not be in the West Wing, but it helped Democrats and people who didn’t vote for Trump to be in the West Wing.”
The core of Nunberg’s frustrations seems to be the presence of Gary Cohn, National Security Advisor HR McMaster, Jared Kushner, and Ivanka Trump, and their disdain for Bannon. These are people that Nunberg believes are hurting the Trump Presidency, and need to be dealt with swiftly.
Bannon’s only just started down the war path — there is no doubt about that. He seeks to counter the mass amount of unfair press coverage that the media regularly gives Trump and his administration.
Many people have been out to get President Trump since day one. Bannon has had the chance to watch it unfold, and knows where President Trump needs help in this war the most. He knows that Trump started this fight for all the Americans who are having their freedoms silenced by the media, corporate sponsors, and dangerous Democrat enemies.
It will be interesting to see where and how Bannon attacks first, and how long he takes to get back into the full swing of things once he reassumes control of Breitbart. There is no doubt that, even though Bannon is no longer in the White House, he will continue to fight for President Trump — fiercely.
