JUST IN: Antifa Issues Nasty Demand

Antifa presence at the Boston “free speech” rally was, fortunately, peaceful according to NBC News.

Yet a Facebook post from the Boston Antifa organization is a stark reminder of their true nature and hatred of America. They issued a firm demand to Americans, saying, “There is no room for capitalists, conservatives, libertarians, “classical liberals” or supporters of the US Constitution in our city. You MUST leave. #Boston Resist”

Police officers seeking to keep the peace the day of the “free speech” rally by white supremacists were likely unsettled by the mass of counter-protesters who arrived to voice their opposition. Estimates by officials say there were at least 40,000 counter-protesters who arrived to oppose the 100 at the rally.

Among the crowd were members of the violent Antifa organization, who were likely hoping for the chance to show opposition in their own way.

According to the BBC, Antifa considers themselves anti-government and opposes Capitalism in all forms. Despite their Left leanings, they often oppose the “established” or elite Left for supporting what they consider a corrupt political system.

These inherent beliefs critical to their organization make their growing power a threat looming on the not-so-distant horizon to all Americans. Even worse is their firm belief that violence against those they consider “fascists” is simply a means to an end and not criminal in nature.

Perhaps even more concerning than the violent radicals is the hesitancy of the media and many politicians to decry them as terrorists. In some truly disturbing cases, these same politicians and media figures stand in defense of Antifa’s violent actions.

The Daily Caller reported an interview with Mark Bray, a Dartmouth professor who advocated the violence committed by Antifa because they are preventing neo-Nazi groups from growing more powerful and attacking in the future. “A lot of people are under attack, and sometimes they need to be able to defend themselves,” Bray said.

President of the Southern Poverty Law Center, Richard Cohen, chided the professor, saying, “I think it’s a spectacularly bad idea to give one group the right to silence another group of people. It’s contrary to our values embodied in the First Amendment.”

Bray disagreed, believing pre-emptive violence is the only solution to opposing countering beliefs. “Fascism cannot be defeated by speech,” Bray said.

Even the US Commission on Civil Rights refused to condemn the violence committed by members of Antifa, according to Fox News. Four Democrats voted down a measure to hold Antifa accountable for their violent actions; two Republicans voted “yes” to the proposal.

Peter Kirsanow, one of the Republicans who voted “yes,” said Antifa should be held accountable but aren’t, because of their Left-based advocacy. “That type of viewpoint discrimination is antithetical to the US Commission on Civil Rights,” he said.

He went on to say that equal protection under the law for all is being threatened. “It’s under attack. It’s under attack at the US Commission on Civil Rights,” Kirsanow said. “We’re engaging in identity politics to a poisonous degree. It’s getting to be extremely dangerous.”

Boston ANTIFA says, “There is no room for capitalists, conservatives, libertarians, “classical liberals” or supporters of the US Constitution in our city.” Is ANTIFA a terrorist organization?

Kirsanow also believes that a biased government and media is taking us down a “very dangerous path,” saying: “It can only end badly. And I would hope that we reverse this and seek to apply the law and seek to apply the way we condemn violence in a universal fashion and an even-handed fashion.”

Everyone has the right to their own beliefs, but advocating those beliefs through violence should not be glorified or protected by anyone. Antifa members who resort to violent means should be held accountable, regardless of who they believe their enemies are.
