President Trump’s popularity with voters has been in constant turmoil, as his successes are suppressed by the media and his failures exaggerated before the public.
According to Rasmussen Reports, the latest poll for President Trump has been released following the Asia tour, and it shows a surprising result. His approval numbers have gone up to 46 percent, showing that Americans are happy with the work he’s been doing.
There are likely two factors that have contributed to the President’s rise in approval ratings: the economic growth of the US, and his Asia tour.
Another report by Rasmussen Reports reveals that Americans are thrilled with the economy under President Trump. The stock market is at record-breaking highs, the unemployment rate for November was the lowest in 17 years, and the average American feels confident and ready to purchase for the upcoming holidays.
This overwhelming confidence in the US economy is likely based on President Trump’s strong economic policies and background as a billionaire businessman. His efforts to revitalize the economy of rural America and bring back corporations from abroad has instilled a level of confidence unseen since before the 2008 recession.
Regarding his Asia tour, ABC News reports that President Trump is preparing to deliver a lengthy statement detailing the results of his trip and the possible outcomes — all of which look positive so far.
President Trump said the statement would be released Wednesday and said the economic impact is good news. He stated, “We’ve made some very big steps with respect to trade, far bigger than anything you know, in addition to about $300 billion in sales to various companies, including China. We have deficits with almost everybody. Those deficits are going to be cut very quickly and very substantially.”
Speaking of the Asia trip, President Trump said, “This has been a very fruitful trip for us, and also in all fairness, for a lot of other nations. The way they’re treated us — the respect that Japan and China and South Korea, in particular, because we went there, treated us — has been really a great respect to our country, to the people of the United States.”
He said the respect and honor he’s received from the various nations is unlike anything seen before. “Red carpet like I think probably nobody has ever received. That really is a sense of respect, perhaps for me a little bit, but really for our country, and I’m very proud of that.”
President Trump’s approval rating is up 46 percent. Do you approve of the job President Trump is doing?
In spite of the negative attention media and opponents of President Trump have attached to his time in office and his Asia trip, Americans are showing confidence in the President’s actions. The respect shown to him by foreign nations also shows that other world powers see him as an equal and are willing to work with him.
It’ll be interesting to see what Wednesday’s statement will reveal about the details of his trip and economic efforts coming down the pipeline that will benefit the US.
Also yet to see is how the Left will spin the good news as part of their gloom and doom narrative regarding President Trump, and how the average voter will continue showing confidence in the President regardless.
