Al Gore has been making bold predictions about global warming for years. A recent scientific discovery centered around 2.7 million-year-old ice has proven him wrong yet again.
According to Science Magazine, the newly discovered ice shows that C02 levels did not exceed 300 parts per million, which is way below today’s levels. The prediction is that lower levels would tip the earth into another ice age. These results mean that the current climate models need to be recalibrated, and therefore all of the “global warming” predictions are far from correct.
Al Gore has managed to make a ton of money off of his first film, An Inconvenient Truth. That’s despite all of his predictions falling flat on their face.
In fact, his failed attempts at convincing people of his insane theory likely contributed to his second film, An Inconvenient Sequel, flopping. It almost seems as if Gore is making things up as he goes along based loosely on science lessons from thirty years ago.
The study, which was based on ice located in Antarctica, revealed other information that makes global warming theories by Gore, and others, appear questionable. Ed Brook, a geochemist from Oregon State University mentioned that the ice comes from a largely ignored area called “blue ice.”
Brook stated that “Ice that’s this old really makes people stand up and notice.” He went on to say that “We’re just scratching the surface.”
The simple truth is that science is always advancing. If Gore wanted to prove his point, he could have started by basing the information he’s preaching on modern day science.
However, the problem with this is that science has since completely debunked everything that Gore has claimed in the past. He doesn’t appear reputable, and that means that people just are not listening to him — nor should they.
This is far from the first time Gore has been called out for his false predictions. According to Town Hall, Chris Wallace put Gore in the hot seat recently regarding Gore’s claim that “a true planetary crisis” was coming in a decade — unless we “took drastic measures” in regards to the environment.
Wallace begged the question, “Weren’t you wrong?” to Gore. Instead of answering logically and saying yes, and admitting that the science has changed, Gore doubled down.
Gore responded, “No…Well, we have seen a decline in emissions on a global basis. For the first time, they’ve stabilized and started to decline. So some of the responses for the last ten years have helped, but unfortunately and regrettably a lot of damage has been done.” He then pointed to “rising water” as a way to prove his point, but provided no scientific data to back his claim. You cannot make bold predictions about the entire world without any real, current science to back your claim.
When it comes down to it, we are just scratching the surface when it comes to information about “climate change.” Despite new information being discovered every day, people like Al Gore say that the science is settled, when that is far from the truth.
